Paul Thompson: February 2018
Shrove Tuesday (13 Feb) sees another Pancake Party at Upper Branton.
Local minister, the Rev'd Paul Thompson, will toss the inaugural pancake at 12.00 noon. Pancake races will follow: firstly the children's race (organised by the mum's & tots) and then the grannies' race (organised this year by last year's winner, Ethel Grebblington).
At 12.45 pm, a sticky pancake lunch will be served, complete with oodles of maple syrup. After lunch, closing devotions will include an item from Upper Branton's interpretative dance group entitled 'Battered for Jesus'.
