Remembrance Sunday is on 11 November and will be marked throughout the Dappleshire Circuit.
Special Remembrance services are planned at Wesley, Trinity, St Peter's and Central (all beginning at 10.30 am). The British Legion is attending the service at Wesley and a variety of uniformed organisations will be on parade at Trinity. Each service will pause at 11.00 am for the traditional two minutes silence. After the service at Central, Whippleswick, wreaths will be laid at the town's war memorial.

The annual ecumenical Dappleford Christmas Tree Festival takes place on Friday 14, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December. The venue for this year's Festival is Wesley, Dappleford. Opening hours are: Friday 7-9, Saturday 10-4, Sunday 12-4.
