Janet Langley: March 2019
This year's ecumenical Lent Course in Whippleswick runs over five Wednesday evenings between 13 March and 10 April. All meeting are in the Blenkinsop Room at Central and each begins at 7.30 pm. This year's course is entitled: 'Reflections on the cross' and explores different understandings of atonement. Meetings include devotions and discussion and each week a display of Christian iconography illustrates the theme. Hot cross buns are served at the end of each meeting.
